What is induction welding?
Induction welding is a technology that uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to locally heat metal materials to be joined. Through a coil, a high-frequency electromagnetic field is generated that induces eddy currents (Foucault currents) in the metal parts, heating them up to the welding temperature.
The absence of direct contact with the heat source and the ability to fine-tune the area and depth of heating make this process ideal for high repeatability and quality applications.
